(i) Dislocation It is an injury of joint in which the adjoining bones are displaced from their original position. It is caused by direct or indirect impact on the joint. A joint injury can involve damage to the bones, ligaments or other tissues of the joint. Dislocation can occur in any major joint (shoulders, knees etc) or minor joint (toes, fingers etc.)
(ii) Fracture It is an injury of bones in which there may be slight or complete breakage. It is caused by some external pressure or indirect impact on the bones. This disturbs the structure and strength of the bone and leads to pain, loss of function, soft tissue damage, sometimes bleeding and injury around the site. Some common bone fractures are knee fracture, wrist fracture, collar bone fracture, ankle bone fracture etc.

(i) Muscle Pull Muscle pull is a type of injury of the muscles. It is caused by stress or overstretch of muscles and tendons. It is also called strain. It causes loss of function of injured muscles and swelling.
(ii) Deep Cut on the skin When skin is cut with a sharp object like knife, razor then the wound is deep and blood comes out as arteries or veins may be cut. This kind of wound is known as incision. There is bleeding from the affected part and it requires immediate medication.

Explain how instrumental aggression is shown by sportspersons.

Instrumental aggression is a form of aggression that is marked by intended behaviour to achieve a larger goal. It is done with careful planning and exists as an means to an end. Its goal is to gain or achieve a favourable outcome that is beneficial to the person or to his team.
The motive is to harm but not by impulse, by calculative moves e.g., doing aggressive acts, planned moves to cause discomfort or attack on confidence to diminish the self-esteem of the opponent player. In this type of aggression, there is proper planning of the ways to show aggression.

Aggression is done by doing physical or mental harm, showing unkind behavior or hostility. Using abusive language, harsh tone or unkind remarks to a person may also be considered aggression.
In sports, aggression is often seen in the field, where players play aggressively. There is a desire to excel which leads to the development of aggressiveness in players. So, aggression is positive when players play within the rules of the game with high intensity and without harming other players.
For example, in cricket, if a batsman is not able to hit the ball, then, he can scold himself. This aggression will act as a intrinsic motivation.
