(i) Dislocation It is an injury of joint in which the adjoining bones are displaced from their original position. It is caused by direct or indirect impact on the joint. A joint injury can involve damage to the bones, ligaments or other tissues of the joint. Dislocation can occur in any major joint (shoulders, knees etc) or minor joint (toes, fingers etc.)

(ii) Fracture It is an injury of bones in which there may be slight or complete breakage. It is caused by some external pressure or indirect impact on the bones. This disturbs the structure and strength of the bone and leads to pain, loss of function, soft tissue damage, sometimes bleeding and injury around the site. Some common bone fractures are knee fracture, wrist fracture, collar bone fracture, ankle bone fracture etc.

(ii) Deep Cut on the skin When skin is cut with a sharp object like knife, razor then the wound is deep and blood comes out as arteries or veins may be cut. This kind of wound is known as incision. There is bleeding from the affected part and it requires immediate medication.
